Mentorship & Continuing Education
New doctors who join National Vision are assigned to an Area Doctor for mentorship and guidance, as well as invited to orientation at our Retail Support Center outside of Atlanta, GA, run by our Clinical Director, Doctor peers and the Professional Services team. The orientation takes place after 30 days on the job, enabling them to ask questions and learn best practices. Colleagues met through this process often stay in touch year after year, creating a strong support system. Employed and affiliated National Vision Doctors of Optometry also have the opportunity to attend a yearly, all-expenses paid, company-wide continuing education event to earn all credits required at once, while having the opportunity to network with peers.
