From the time she filled out an “About Me” worksheet in third grade, Dr. Stephanie Thai-Fernandez knew she wanted to become an eye doctor. That early confidence guided her through healthcare-focused programs in high school and college, ultimately leading her to Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she graduated in 2021.

While in optometry school, Dr. Thai-Fernandez recognized that commercial practice suited her growing professional goals. After graduating, she joined an America’s Best clinic in Hatfield, Pennsylvania where she now serves as the primary doctor with a supportive team by her side.

“Private practice just doesn’t fit my lifestyle, especially as a first-time mom. I’m fortunate to have the flexibility to do what I love while balancing life outside of work.” Dr. Stephanie Thai-Fernandez.

Beyond her work in the exam room, Dr. Thai-Fernandez also serves as a National Vision ambassador, creating content for both current and aspiring optometrists, including a “Day in the Life of an OD” video and various blog posts. This role allows her to promote National Vision’s practice model while sharing practical advice as a passionate OD about career choices, work‑life balance and patient care.
