Job Responsibilities

The position is responsible for the leadership of the Treasury function and the build-out of a robust Treasury function and infrastructure of best practices, processes, and controls, taking into account the company's recent transition from a private to a public company. The role is responsible for the preparation of consolidated cash flow and liquidity projections, financial analysis and reporting, providing strategic leadership for performance improvement in working capital, and leading the financial risk management for the company.

  • Provides coaching, leadership, and development to a team so that they can successfully transform from a cash management function to a broader treasury function.
  • Leads short- and long-term cash management functions, including cash forecasting, analysis, and maximization of overnight sweep opportunities.
  • Provides analytical support on any financing transactions undertaken by the company.
  • Develops and delivers value-added cash management reporting to senior leadership.
  • Oversees daily cash positioning, cash movement, wire payments, positive pay exception processing, fraud filter monitoring, and other related treasury operations.
  • Cultivates banking relationships; analyzes and negotiates bank and services fees.
  • Identifies cost-saving and profit-maximizing opportunities and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and makes improvements to the company's bank account structure and services.
  • Manages debt service functions, including daily liquidity borrowing evaluations and interest payments.
  • Oversees all debt management reporting, compliance, and repayment analysis, including credit facility and corporate covenant management, as well as monthly borrowing base reporting.
  • Drives continuous process improvement within the Treasury function.
  • Collaborates with other functions inside and outside of the company, including but not limited to Accounting, Finance, Legal, and banking partners to meet company goals.
  • Manages Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for Treasury operations.
  • Performs an overall system review and assesses current practices and procedures; evaluates the need for a Treasury Workstation solution; and leads the implementation process, as applicable, of new tools and technology.
  • Oversees the risk management function, including renewals and property claims.

Preferred Qualifications

 

Work Experience

  • 8+ years related experience (Required)
  • 2-4 years related management experience (Required)
  • Experience with evaluation and implementation of Treasury operations tools/technology (Required)

Education

  • Four-year college degree (Required)
  • Advanced degree (Preferred)

Licenses, Certifications, Professional Affiliations

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation (Preferred)
