Job Responsibilities
The Business Partner collaborates with senior retail leaders and their teams to deliver impactful business results through both strategic and hands-on initiatives. This role serves as a trusted consultant, offering proactive guidance and support to implement HR solutions that drive organizational performance and agility. Success in this position requires deep insight into the client group's strategic goals, business challenges, and customer expectations.

Strategic Partnership: Collaborates closely with Regional and District leadership to develop innovative strategies that accelerate business outcomes, identify and bridge organizational gaps, and provide dynamic coaching to strengthen a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Employee Relations & Performance Management: Proactively addresses and resolves complex employee relations challenges, leveraging technology and data-driven insights to conduct thorough investigations. Provides ongoing, personalized support for performance management, including coaching, career development, counseling, and disciplinary action, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
HR Process Improvement: Leads the advancement of People Team processes by leveraging innovative technologies, data-driven insights, and a culture of continuous learning to identify and implement cutting-edge optimizations and improvements.
Succession Planning & Talent Management: Partners with Regional and District leadership to drive forward-thinking succession strategies, leverage data and analytics to identify emerging talent, and co-create agile development plans that fuel organizational growth and innovation.
Training & Development: Actively identifies skill and knowledge gaps using data-driven assessments and employee feedback. Collaborates with the training team to design, implement, and deliver targeted, engaging learning experiences for field leadership. Participates in regional meetings and leverages digital platforms to ensure all team members have access to relevant training and ongoing support, fostering continuous growth and adaptability.
Market Trends: Continuously monitors emerging industry trends, leveraging real-time data and insights to proactively recommend innovative workplace solutions that reflect the company’s values and foster a future-ready environment.
HR Metrics & Analytics: Gather and utilize data to empower evidence-based decision-making, offering actionable insights that drive organizational performance and boost employee retention.
Field Support: Leverages digital collaboration tools and periodic in-person visits to partner with business leaders, gain firsthand insight into operational challenges, and drive the effective rollout of People Team initiatives across all markets.
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in diverse Human Resources positions with increasing scope and responsibility (Preferred)
- 6+ years experience partnering with leaders across a multi‑unit, geographically dispersed organization, supporting multiple locations and leadership levels simultaneously.
- 6+ years of expertise in employee relations. (Preferred)
- 6+ years skilled in evaluating organizational systems, structures, and business strategies and staying current with industry trends. (Required)
- 6+ years strong history of collaborating with management as a credible, trusted advisor. (Required)
- 6+ years demonstrated success in executing both short- and long-term HR and change management initiatives. (Required)
- 6+ years of HR experience supporting a large hourly workforce in a geographically matrixed organization. (Required)
- 6+ years of proven ability to analyze and interpret data to produce reports that give insight into organizational performance. (Required)
- 6+ years of experience with data analysis, report writing, and presentation management. (Required)
Education
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience. (Required)
Licenses, Certifications, Professional Affiliations
- PHR/SHRM Certification (Preferred)
