Job Responsibilities

This role is responsible for supporting the full-cycle recruitment process to hire top talent aligned with the organization's needs. This role partners closely with hiring Recruiters, Hiring Managers and People Team members to execute recruiting strategies and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience. It plays a key role in supporting the applicant tracking system, facilitating background checks, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the recruiting team.

What Would You Do? The Specifics.

  • Performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using the applicant tracking system, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, social media, online job boards, and employee referrals.
  • Conducts phone interviews and pre-screening with potential candidates to determine fit for National Vision.
  • Provides a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Coordinates the background check process, including initiating checks and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Creates recruiting reports to track key metrics, provide actionable insights, and improve strategies for the People Team and Field Leaders.
  • Creates and maintains job requisitions in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accuracy in job descriptions and posting details across internal and external postings.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to ensure alignment with best practices.
  • Provides training, support, and troubleshooting for the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Preferred Qualifications

Work Experience

  • 2-4 years recruitment and sourcing or Human Resources experience preferably in the retail industry (Required)

Education

  • Two years of college or equivalent experience. (Required)

Additional Skills

    • MS Office suite experience, including PowerPoint and Excel. (Required)
    • Experience with Social Media and on-line job boards: LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed, Twitter, Facebook (Required)
    • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ex: SmartRecruiters, iCIMS, Taleo) (Preferred)
