National Vision opticians are dedicated to helping customers navigate one of their most important purchases — eyeglasses to help them see better, live better, and look their best.
Our opticians are responsible for selling, fitting and dispensing eyewear to customers, and preparing work orders for optical laboratories to grind and mount lenses into frames. At National Vision, the job doesn’t end there. Our opticians take pride in providing world-class service and a welcoming store atmosphere to our customers by treating them with respect, listening and understanding their needs, providing transparency in pricing and teaching about good eye care health.
Licensing
If you’re not yet licensed, National Vision supports associates throughout the licensing journey, including providing access to exam preparation services and paying ABO and NCLE exam fees.
Licensed Opticianry States are AK, AZ, AR, CA, CT, FL, GA, HI, KY, MA, NC, NV, NJ, NY, OH, PR, RI, SC, TN, VT, VA and WA.
