For our directly employed Doctors, we take care of the financial/reimbursement and staff management areas of the business completely and professionally. All National Vision employed and affiliated Doctors are held to the highest standards and expected to provide high-quality, comprehensive eye exams that meet or exceed the standards set forth by the American Optometric Association and the state where they operate. Our business has consistent busy and slow periods through the year that we can plan for.
National Vision employs many strategies to manage patient flow while upholding the highest standards of clinical care. Many of our stores are taking advantage of:
State-of-the-art scheduling software – ensures we properly allocate more time for patients that need extra chair time (children, diabetics, etc.)
Well-trained technicians – our professional standards in pre-testing include: patient case history, contact lens history, aided and unaided visual acuity, autorefractor/autokeratometer, IOP, color vision, stereopsis, lensometry and Humphrey visual field screenings
High-quality equipment – including auto-phoropters, digital acuity charts, visual field screenings, autorefractors and retinal cameras (in select states).
